On June 2, 2017, Chen Zhihao, Chairman of An'an International Group Co., Ltd., accompanied by Zhu Rong, Deputy General Manager of the Procurement Center, and He Zhongdong, Deputy General Manager of the R&D Center, was invited to attend the grand opening ceremony of the international chemical giant BASF's multi-purpose production base for nursing chemicals (Jinshan, Shanghai), and had cordial meetings with senior management in BASF's Asia Pacific and Greater China regions.

The opening and operation of BASF's multi-purpose production base for nursing chemicals is BASF's largest investment in oil and fat production equipment in the Asia Pacific region, with a total investment of 150 million RMB (approximately 20 million euros). It complements BASF's current production of wax esters, emulsifiers, and main surfactants at its Jinshan base in Shanghai, and will further enhance BASF's localization production capacity in China, Better serve the growing personal care market in China and the Asia Pacific region.
